About Us:
The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic is a physician-owned clinic specializing in orthopedic care for all ages. With a specialized, comprehensive team of orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, physical therapists, and friendly support staff, OFC is among Minnesota's most experienced orthopedic groups. Our primary clinic offers comprehensive services through our Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine Department, Back Care Center, in-office X-ray, and MRI.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work on various insurance accounts assigned by the supervisor, including importing charges, processing payments, filing appeals, and any necessary follow-up with the insurance payer.
• Collect and process patient payments and assist patients with billing questions.
• Complete employment-related leave of absence paperwork
• Assist in all aspects of the Business Office.
• May be responsible for administrative functions such as word processing, reporting, and filing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Location & Commitments:
• Full-time position M-F 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with flexibility.
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Experience in medical records, claims, or billing.
• Excellent public relations skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent or minimum of two years experience in a healthcare, clinical, or hospital setting.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
