JOB OVERVIEW:
The MRI Receptionist is responsible for basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner, and pre-certifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Clinic Duties
- Answer clinic phone calls
- Schedule MRI and order labs
- Prescreen patients
- Obtain pre certification and benefits
- Collection of copay
- Posting clinic charges
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSE:
None
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years of medical office experience preferred
SKILLS:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient with computer skills including experience with practice management software desired.
