Newly developing multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center in Camp Hill, PA, is seeking an experienced fulltime Sterile Processing Technician (SPT), preferably certified. The SPT will coordinate and provide patient care, to both adult and pediatric patients, in accordance to established and accepted standards of care, policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Maintains Central Supply in an orderly and organized fashion.
- Cleans, wraps, identifies and autoclaves all instruments, supplies and equipment as necessary to maintain availability.
- Completes and maintains accurate logs.
- Cleans and maintains autoclaves.
- Initiates and maintains appropriate infection control measures
- All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
The SPT must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the surgical suite. CRCST certification is required. BLS required. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team; have the ability to assess patient needs, determine priorities; present good public relation skills; and possess the ability to handle stress.
WORK SCHEDULE
We offer Monday – Friday all day shift with no weekends, holidays, or on call.
