The Osborne Company is looking to hire a skilled Estimator with commercial construction cost estimating experience. The Osborne Company is a Topeka, KS based general contracting firm operating in more than 30 states. Founded in 1976, our firm serves our clients in three primary divisions of work; design-build in commercial construction, facility maintenance, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure installation. We are seeking an experienced commercial construction Estimator to fulfill the promises to our customers by implementing systems and processes to aggressively bid, negotiate and win commercial construction projects.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU ARE:
As a commercial construction estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project planning and development process. Your expertise in cost estimation and analysis will be essential in ensuring accurate and competitive bids for commercial construction projects. You will collaborate closely with our project management teams to prepare detailed project estimates, budgets and proposals. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Construction Science, related subject or project work experience preferred (recent college graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years commercial construction estimating experience
- Experience with construction management software tools and current technology used in estimating including ability/willingness to learn new software systems
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies, materials and processes.
- Experience with energy efficient building technology, techniques, and their applications
- A valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- Pre-employment drug testing, background check, and motor vehicle records check required
- This position can be performed in a hybrid setting or remotely.
