Position Overview
The Site Supervisor oversees security personnel's daily operations, coordination, and performance during their shift. This role ensures the safety and security of assigned premises, compliance with vendor policies, and adherence to all legal regulations. The supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for guards and clients during the shift and ensures the professional execution of all security duties.
The Site Supervisor position is located, and will report daily on-site in the Columbus, Ohio facility.
Duties

Operational Oversight:
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate relevant updates, assignments, and expectations.
- Monitor guard posts and patrol routes to ensure proper coverage and compliance with security protocols.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, ensuring proper escalation and documentation.

Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of armed guards during the assigned shift.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job coaching or corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure all guards adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders during the shift.
- Address client concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels.

Training and Development:
- Assist in onboarding and training new security personnel on operational standards and emergency procedures.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and recommend additional training when needed.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all guards comply with licensing, certifications, and weapons regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of incidents, shift activities, and equipment usage.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate any critical issues to management.

Safety and Risk Management:
- Enforce strict adherence to firearm safety protocols and procedures.
- Regularly inspect equipment, weapons, and uniforms to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Mitigate risks by identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be 21 years old and a United States Citizen.
- Must have a current Top Secret security clearance, or current SECRET clearance with eligibility for TS.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Proven experience in security operations, with at least 7 years in a security operations supervisory role, or 5 years’ experience overseeing armed guard service or Law Enforcement/military security operations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional security certifications are a plus).
- Proficiency in report writing and basic computer skills.
- Able to obtain an armed security guard license and firearm permits as state and local regulations require.
- Must pass all training and obtain required certifications, including CPR and First Aid/AED.
- Ability to write detailed reports and speak clearly and effectively in English.
- Successfully pass drug and alcohol screening as well as a background check.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to stay calm and act decisively under pressure.
Working Conditions:
- Schedule: May involve shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Environment: Outdoor and indoor settings, often requiring exposure to various weather conditions and high-security risks.
- Able to carry and lift 50 pounds.
- You need to be able to stand for long periods of time on concrete floors.
- Able to climb eight flights of stairs.
