Job Overview:
We are seeking a sociable and experienced Bartender to join our team! This position will be throughout the week and weekend as needed.
This position will be throughout the week. The hours will vary some am and pm shifts. We are looking to add a Bartender with open availability and that can pick up shifts when needed. We need someone fast pace, talkative, knowledgeable and able to multitask efficiently. Additionally any knowledge of sports would be helpful!
Duties:
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests, including craft cocktails and beers
- Manage cash register and POS system, handling transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to guests
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of brewing and bartending techniques
- Use basic math skills to calculate bills and make change
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a bartending or related role
- Strong knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as kegs and coolers
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math concepts
- A passion for craft cocktails and brewing techniques
