Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team at The Ouimette Group.
This role involves performing radiographic procedures, operating related equipment, and ensuring patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying anatomical orientation on all required images
- Assuring proper file identification
- Demonstrating competency in performing all radiographic procedures and operating equipment
- Greeting patients, obtaining history, and entering information into our computer system
- Performing x-rays at optimal quality
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine preferred
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certified & NY State license in Radiologic Technology
- One to four years of experience in as general radiologic technologist preferred
