Job Description
X-Ray Technologists - Mt. Kisco, Fishkill, Rhinebeck, Hopewell Jct.
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for:

1. Identifying anatomical orientation on all required images and ensuring proper file identification
2. Demonstrating competency in performing radiographic procedures and operating related equipment
3. Greeting patients, obtaining history, and entering information in the computer system
4. Performing x-rays at optimal quality
5. Demonstrating patient care by protecting them from excessive radiation and observing vital signs during examination

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Review images to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent
2. An associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine (preferred)
3. ARRT certified and NY State license in Radiologic Technology
4. One to four years of experience in general radiologic technology (preferred)
