Job Overview
The Outing Lodge is a small, historic B&B and events venue. We are family owned & family operated.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during various events, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. As a Banquet Server, you will work closely with the catering team to set up, serve, and clean up after events in a professional and timely manner.
Most shifts are on weekends. Occasionally there are some weekday shifts available as well.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decor.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in an attentive and courteous manner.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas during events by bussing tables and ensuring all areas are well-stocked.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during events.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food and beverages.
-We work as a team and are happy to train in areas where you need training.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings. If you do not have previous experience we are open to training.
- Customer service & communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
We can be very flexible with scheduling.
