Department: Property
Reports To: Maintenance Lead Supervisor
Janitorial worker is responsible for the general cleanliness and upkeep of the Property
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School Diploma preferred
Experience
- General knowledge of indoor and outdoor cleaning
Traits
- Ability to lift/push/pull,40-60 pounds
- Possess good time management and organizational skills
- Enjoy working outdoors with an eye for detail
- Desires the surroundings to be clean and orderly
Responsibilities:
- Complete janitorial duties of public areas and property premises
- Cleaning of all public restrooms
- Sweep and mop as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of public area and parking lot
- Pressure wash/blowing of all curbs and sidewalks
- Maintain all equipment for proper operating condition according to preventative maintenance schedule
- Complete daily assignments on worksheets and maintain accurate records
- Maintain inventory controls
- Thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and implementation of these procedures
- Attend staff meetings
- Report any/all maintenance and security issues to Maintenance Supervisor/Security Director
- Promote and practice safety standards at all times
- Record and report all incidents to management
- Provide customer assistance
- Refer tenant issues to Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager
