Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our fast paced, dynamic team at Between The Lakes Tap House. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that all patrons receive prompt and friendly service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all customers are served promptly.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of beverages and supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Toast POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Pay: $7.00 - $8.00 per hour
