Role includes:
- Following best practices as established by the General Manager, including those regarding cleaning, packaging, presentation, and food safety.
- Practicing good personal hygiene, including showering before work and washing hands routinely throughout the day.
- Working as a team and communicating effectively with other areas of the operation.
- Cleaning and monitoring the front of house equipment, including the drink machines, coolers, coffee machine, etc.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and pleasant disposition while communicating with guests..
- Striving to satisfy the needs of every guest.
- Following best practices when dealing with difficult guests, and reporting any guest issues to management.
- Communicating allergy risks to the cook.
- Observing the flow of food through the front of house, and reducing cross contamination and pathogen risk.
- Developing and maintaining a knowledge of the point of sale system.
- Answering phone calls and preparing delivery orders, including drinks, napkins, and sauce cups.
- Delivering orders to guests, and using the PA system to call out orders as needed.
- Being receptive to training opportunities.
- Collaborating with management on event ideas, and front of house best practices.
