The Owl Bar is looking for a front of house team member who will take the lead on ensuring patrons at the restaurant have a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and suggest scheduling adjustments as needed based on reservations
  • Answer incoming calls regarding reservations and carry out orders
  • Greet guests as they arrive to the restaurant and escort to their tables
  • Manage server assignments and table sections
  • Control the flow of dinner service and adjust reservation availability as tables are assigned
  • Oversee the overall guest experience in the restaurant by visiting tables, speaking with guests and providing service recovery when needed
  • Thank guests and invite them back
  • Assist with booking large party reservations and being point of contact during reservation

Qualifications

  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team

    • Requirements

  • Must be available nights and weekends. Regular work week would be Wednesday - Saturday.
  • Prior restaurant and / or leadership experience is preferred

    • Pay based on experience - $20-$23 per hour
