**Overview:**
We are seeking cooks to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for supporting the restaurant and preparing select menu items. As well as ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate, hardworking, punctual, have a positive attitude, be a value team member and support all staff and ongoing aspects of the business. We are also looking for dish/prep 2 nights a week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.
- Handle food items according to health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently serve meals and manage kitchen operations.
- Support menu planning and dietary needs, providing catering services as required.
- Utilize knife skills and culinary techniques to prepare ingredients for various dishes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Strong food handling skills and knowledge of food safety standards
- Culinary experience with proficiency in knife skills and meal preparation
- Experience in catering and food service is a plus
- Familiarity with dietary department operations and menu planning is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
