Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction and renovation projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Analyze project blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine accurate pricing and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
Evaluate and analyze project bids to provide recommendations to senior management.
Work directly with clients to understand project scope, budgets, and expectations.
Track and monitor project costs to ensure adherence to budgets and identify cost fluctuations.
Conduct site visits and assessments as needed to develop precise estimates.
Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and change orders.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and industry best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as an Estimator in multifamily construction, project management, or renovation projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes for multifamily and renovation projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and client meetings.
