Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive infrastructure and transportation decisions? Join our consulting team supporting the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a Consultant Economic Data Analyst under a one-year assignment.
- Conduct quantitative, statistical, and qualitative research in the transportation sector
- Analyze economic trends, perform benefit-cost analysis, and prepare econometric forecasts
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from public sources like Census, BLS, FRED, USDOT
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and economic commentaries
- Support capital plan inflation analysis, remote work trend studies, and more
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with R, Python, Stata, or EViews for data modeling and automation
- Familiarity with economic, demographic, and transportation datasets
- Report writing and market research expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in economic or transportation data analysis
- Able to work onsite 3 days per week (hybrid schedule)
- Must be eligible for SWAC ID and security clearance upon hiring
