What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classified Advertising / Customer Service Representative position at The Paducah Sun?
The Paducah Sun part of The West Kentucky Media Group is looking for a classifieds/customer service representative (CSR) for it and its papers.
They will be the first point of contact for customers of our papers. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a positive, and professional demeanor toward customers.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone or email
- Providing information: Answering questions about products, services, and advertising options.
- Resolving issues: Handling complaints, returns, and other concerns
- Placing of classified liners, Class display ads and billing customers
- Maintaining records: Recording customer interactions and actions taken
- Escalating issues: Referring customers to supervisors or more experienced employees when needed.
- Newspaper Subscription renewals.
The right candidate should have strong communication skills, empathy, ability to navigate customer service platforms, attention to detail, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, desire to educate and build relationships with clients, and have a team mindset.
