Job Title: ERP-WMS Configurator
Purpose:
This position is responsible for the functional design, testing, and implementation of ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) integrated with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhattan WMOS (2017.1) and WM Active. The role also supports supply-chain reporting applications and ensures seamless integration across platforms to optimize operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP and WMS Integration:
- Design and implement configurations for Oracle Fusion ERP and Manhattan WMOS (SCPP 2016 or later).
- Develop, test, and validate end-to-end integration solutions across ERP and WMS platforms.
- Manage back-end and front-end configurations, including business rule settings to align with organizational goals.
System Testing and Validation:
- Independently create and execute test plans, including generating test data for end-to-end workflows.
- Collaborate with integration teams to validate cross-functional solutions.
- Leverage test management tools (e.g., qTest) to ensure robust testing and performance validation.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and report base system defects.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for ERP-WMS-related technical issues.
- Maintain and update change logs and documentation for fixes and new functionality releases.
Agile Project Management:
- Develop and refine user stories, manage backlogs, and participate in sprint planning sessions.
- Utilize ticketing and incident management systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) to track and resolve issues.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with IT partners, end-users, and cross-functional teams to define and document business needs.
- Partner with business units to implement scalable and efficient solutions.
- Provide training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new features and processes.
Configuration and Implementation:
- Configure WM Active systems and understand the proactive and extensibility frameworks for expanding base WMS solutions.
- Execute cutover planning and transitions from legacy systems (e.g., AS400) to Oracle Fusion.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of systems integration platforms, architecture, and database structures.
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle), XML/XSL syntax, and JSON (Postman).
- Hands-on experience with Manhattan WMOS (SCPP 2016 or later) and WM Active.
- Familiarity with automation and testing tools such as qTest and Postman.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across different business units.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:
- Large-scale ERP implementation, including cutover planning and performance validation.
- Knowledge of proactive frameworks and extensibility in Manhattan WMS to meet ERP integration requirements.
- Experience in supply chain operations and warehouse management systems.
