Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth within your designated territory. Our ideal candidate will have some experience with powder, liquid and paint equipment from either working with, distributing or sales of equipment in these industries
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while seeking out new prospects in the market.
- Present product offerings to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in industrial spray equipment
- Strong lead generation skills with the ability to identify potential customers.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with territory sales strategies and direct sales techniques.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections during the sales process.
