Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish on various projects. The Painter will also collaborate with other tradespeople, so effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Help with basic carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of painted areas.
- Undertake residential/commercial painting projects with attention to detail and adherence to specifications.
- Renovate existing structures through repainting and refinishing techniques.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial professional painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with paint sprayers is a plus.
- Knowledge of trim carpentry practices is advantageous.
- Experience in industrial painting environments is beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
- Ability to operate a lift is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
