The Paisley Grille is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented cleaners to maintain a pristine and sanitary environment for our guests and team. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to the overall success of our restaurant, and we’re looking for individuals who take pride in a job well done.
Position Summary:
As a Restaurant Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of both front and back of house areas, including the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and staff areas. Ideal candidates are reliable, efficient, and understand the importance of maintaining high standards in a hospitality setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deep clean kitchen equipment, floors, prep areas, and drains according to schedule
- Sanitize restrooms, dining areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash from all areas of the restaurant
- Refill soap, paper products, and cleaning supplies as needed
- Maintain cleaning logs and follow safety/chemical handling protocols
- Alert management to maintenance issues or supply shortages
- Follow opening or closing cleaning checklists with consistency and care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Understanding of sanitation and safe chemical use (training provided)
- Punctual and dependable, with good communication skills
- Able to lift 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Must be available for early morning or late evening shifts
