The #1 Priority of this position is…
To assist the Dining Room Manager in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses. Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies.
Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.
Ability to promote and execute our culture of “Yes”.
Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent (GED).
At least two (2) years of experience in supervising dining room staff and food service.
Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
Basic math skills required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.

Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
Strong Leadership skills.

Demonstrate excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
