Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Procurement & Inventory Specialist to take ownership of our supply chain operations across two dynamic manufacturing companies. In this role, you’ll analyze workflows, streamline procurement strategies, enhance inventory management, and improve logistics—ensuring cost savings, minimal waste, and a seamless supply chain.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and refine supply chain processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.
- Source and procure raw materials, components, and supplies while building strong supplier relationships.
- Maintain and optimize supplier databases, exploring new partnerships for greater supply chain resilience.
- Monitor supplier performance and quickly resolve issues related to quality, pricing, or deliveries.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to secure the best agreements.
- Enhance warehouse and distribution processes to ensure fast, cost-effective order fulfillment.
- Improve inventory control strategies to minimize excess stock, prevent shortages, and enhance turnover rates.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, finance, production, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Utilize and maintain our ERP systems (JobBoss & WorkWise) to ensure accurate and up-to-date data management.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
- 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory control, supply chain management, or logistics in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on ERP experience - JobBoss experience is a plus!
- Deep understanding of supply chain management and inventory control best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve problems in fast-paced environments and drive continuous improvement.
- Financial acumen to support cost-effective decision-making.
