Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the team who will play a key role in the strategy and long-term financial security of the company.
Responsibilities :
Assists in building, supervising, and training the accounting team
Overall management and participation in the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department
Producing financial reporting and maintenance of accounting records
Preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting
Accurate processing of financial transactions and overall management of the invoicing team
Administration of a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk
Ensure that reported results comply with GAAP
Contributes to the strategic data analysis and research for company leadership
Reviews and validates project costs, margins and assists with pricing
Oversee and participate in Ad-hoc projects Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Must have at least 5 years of management experience, specifically in accounting
At least 2 years of NetSuite and QuickBooks practical usage
Ability to integrate complex data into actionable information
Outstanding and effective communications skills
Excellent business acumen and judgement, sound decision-making skills
Must understand supply chain and pricing models, and experience with job costing
Proficiency and practical use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
