POSITION SUMMARY : The Arbitration Support Representative is responsible for completing daily tasks relating to auto collision claims including working with police departments creating scene diagrams for accidents, uploading files to Arbitration Forums for claims, reviewing and forwarding emails to Arbitration Specialists regarding pending cases, and calling Insurance Carriers to confirm payment of Arbitration Awards based on the case findings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Enters and follows-up on daily mail from Insurance Carriers, Clients and Arbitration Forums.
Calls Insurance Carriers for payment status on arbitration awards.
Designs scene diagrams for accident supports on arbitration filings based on police department logs / files and insurance reporting.
Performs general clerical duties such as filing, faxing, typing, etc.
Communicates in writing and verbally (in person and / or via phone) with supervisors, managers, co-workers and clients.
Comprehends and executes verbal and written directions from supervisors and managers.
Frequently reads and interprets information in written form and from a computer monitor regarding clients, debtors, policy and procedure, FDCPA laws, and company memos.
Participates in various problem solving and decision-making activities requiring skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, basic math and independent thinking.
Takes on additional responsibilities as time allows.
E-files contentions for cases using the appropriate workflow and procedures.
Ability to maintain consistent and regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule.
Ability to work onsite / in-office in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :
2 years of experience in auto insurance, legal, or collections industry preferred.
Previous experience in administrative support position in a professional setting preferred.
Previous clerical skills and experience with filing, system / database and Microsoft Office preferred.
Accurate data entry skill and moderate typing skills of 40 WPM preferred.
Ability to interpret and comprehend data to generate analysis with a high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
