About the Role
The Quality Vehicle Systems Engineer is integrated into a dynamic and diverse team responsible for acceptance testing of prototype tracked and wheeled military vehicles, including main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers.
9-80 Work Schedule (This position’s standard work schedule is a 9 / 80. The 9 / 80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off).
Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Role
Determine & evaluate test requirements
Develop & revise acceptance test procedures
Conduct vehicle verification checkouts to establish baseline of test assets
Execute functional acceptance test procedures
Document status of testing compliances and deficiencies
Communicate test results to internal and external customers as required
Support other areas of Engineering Quality Assurance as needed Qualifications Sought
Engineering degree required
This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official college or university transcript from their school before their first day of employment.
Must pass ASR to enter military vehicles Additional Information / Desired Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Ability to work in a shop environment
Ability to work within an interdependent team
