Human Resources / Compliance Representative
Position Summary :
Are you a detail-oriented and reliable individual who appreciates contributing to an enterprise project? Do you find repeatable and process focused tasks to be rewarding? Guardian is seeking an HR / Compliance Representative to assist with a large I-9 and E-Verify initiative. This role is crucial in ensuring our adherence to federal regulations regarding employment eligibility.
You will :
- Review and verify I-9 forms for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure that all required documentation is provided and valid for new hires
- Conduct E-Verify checks for employees as mandated
- Address and resolve any discrepancies that arise during the E-Verify process
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of I-9 and E-Verify regulations
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical records related to I-9 and E-Verify compliance
- Prepare reports on compliance status and findings as needed
- Work closely with HR and Legal teams to address compliance issues and ensure regulatory adherence
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding compliance documentation and processes
- Collaborate across teams as needed
You have :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in human resources or compliance is a plus
Previous experience in HR or Compliance
Familiarity with I-9 forms and the E-Verify system is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
