Electrical Control Panel Technician
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and assembling electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies according to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to build electrical control panels.
- Utilize various hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers to assemble components and wiring.
- Complete point-to-point wiring and install electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, switches, and more.
- Document work by red-lining necessary changes to initiate engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Perform operations such as deburring, grinding, and sawing using hand pallet jacks to move material within the plant.
- Assemble finished products or subassemblies into cases and cabinets.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using small hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
