What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at The Panther Group?
The Panther Group is seeking a Project Manager to support Medicare Markets and Medicare Mandate Projects with one of our partners, a large health insurance company. This position is a W2 contract role (6 months) and does not permit Visas or sponsorship now or in the future.
Healthcare industry understanding will be important because the projects may cross over multiple business areas (risk adjustment, network provider, outreach to providers, etc.)
Ideal candidate would have some exposure to Medicare projects, such as CMS mandate projects .
3-5 years of experience is required
Ideal candidate would have working knowledge of Smartsheets and Jira
Must understand project plans, and how to create / manage to a schedule. Job Description :
Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating / scheduling the appropriate life cycle phases for implementation and support for large or multiple small projects. Activities include coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments and often performs systems analysis. Serves as a primary contact with user groups and systems management. Familiar with Waterfall & Agile delivery methods. May also indirectly supervise staff. Optional technology experience.
