Our Client is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and manage the quality processes for the company ensuring compliance and quality of products for their customers.
Essential Responsibilities :
Ensure systems and procedures satisfy all requirements,
Will manage processes for compliance of product shipped per contractual arrangements.
Will act as the main point of contact with customers as well as government agencies for quality related issues, and audits.
Will ensure and maintain the documentation of internal quality processes.
Oversee the control of internal procedures.
Will Audit internal processes for compliance.
Ensure and evaluate processes for continuous improvement, and proactively for preventative actions and implement corrective actions.
Manage and evaluate staff and activities to help identifying problems and initiate corrective action.
Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, systems, compliance, and surveillance audits
Will investigate customer complaints and work with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and training methods.
Ensures materials meet specifications, as well as quality standards. Skills and Experience :
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of proven quality management; or a combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
Strong familiarity with ISO compliance.
Ideally has MRP knowledge, and SAP experience is preferred.
Training as ISO9001 / AS9100 Lead Auditor
Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead and motivate.
Experience with Material and Inventory Control systems.
Must have practical experience applying lean manufacturing concepts.
Strong leadership and people skills.
