RN Unit Manager
Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is looking to hire a RN Unit Manager to join their team.
RN Unit Manager Job Description:
- Day to Day Supervision of Licensed and Non-Licensed staff, including counseling/disciplinary action, evaluations, and one-to-one in-service.
- Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit; including paper compliance, reports, and EMR monitoring
- Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of care
- Must make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must be able to appropriately communicate with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and governmental agencies/personnel.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to Post-Acute & long-term care.
- Leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
RN Unit Manager Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Must have a current RN and unencumbered license for the state of practice.
- 1years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility preferred
- Must be reliable and able to accommodate a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights, and weekend work hours when necessary
- Must be reliable and able to oversee 40-bed unit.
Salary Range: up to $115,000 a year
