We are seeking an enthusiastic Bistro Attendant to join our Culinary Department at The Park at University Village!
Full-time opportunity!
Starting at $18/hour!
Multiple Shifts! 4 days/week, WEDS & THURS, 10:30AM - 3PM and SAT & SUN, 10:30AM - 5PM

Who you are:
You enjoy providing top-notch customer service. The Bistro Attendant is responsible for assisting residents and guests in the Bistro in a knowledgeable and courteous manner. Effectively promotes the Bistro, takes orders, prepares food and beverage orders, and assists with light food prep.
What you'll do:
- Cook and prepare food for use in Bistro
- Prepare Bistro including setting up necessary supplies and tools
- Perform a variety of tasks related to selling menu items and collecting payment and recording charges
- Protect establishment and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- Restock bistro daily with required supplies
- Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
- Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor
- Assist with special events as needed
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer residents to management when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Food handlers card required/Alcohol Safety Training required
- Basic math skills/Cash handling
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
- Customer service experience
- Will need to possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate and update as needed. (Class will be provided by the community)
- Must be drug free and submit to a drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
