Dining Services Associate
We are looking for full-time, 30 hour per week, benefit-eligible, Dining Services Associate (DSA). This position is a flexible and cross-trained team member supporting various dining operations. This includes meal service in multiple dining areas, food preparation, excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents and guests.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 130pm - 730pm, with occasional weekends
Primary Responsibilities:
- Dining Room Support: greeting residents and guests, taking and delivering meals, assist with clean up.
- Food Preparation: assisting with cook's list such as fruits, salads, side dishes and desserts.
- Bistro Support: greeting customers, ringing up orders, packing soups and sandwiches and maintaining clean service area
- Dishwashing support: wash, sanitize and put away dishes
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Familiarity with food preparation and service operations
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to adapt to varying roles and tasks as needed.
Physical Requirements:
* percentages may differ daily depending on duties required for that day
- Standing/Walking 80%
- Lifting 50lbs max. 40%
- Bending/Stooping 40%
