The Park RVA is Richmond’s premier entertainment and bar venue, offering a lively and fast-paced atmosphere. We are looking for friendly and organized Hosts to be the first point of contact for our guests and help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Position Overview
As a Host at The Park RVA, you’ll be responsible for greeting guests, managing waitlists, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. This role is perfect for individuals who are outgoing, customer-service oriented, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly first impression.
- Guide guests to their tables and communicate seating availability with servers.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the entrance and dining areas.
- Answer guest inquiries and provide information about our venue and offerings.
- Work closely with servers and managers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous hosting or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $13.00/hour tips
- Full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health insurance (60% covered by the company).
