Position Description:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee and enhance our building operations, infrastructure, and facilities services. The Facilities Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational efficiency and sustainability of our facilities through effective coordination of preventative maintenance programs. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities management, ensuring that all aspects of building operations align with our organization's standards and objectives.
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple priorities within dynamic environments and fostering strong relationships with service providers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement our comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all physical assets to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Manage and review contracts and service agreements with preferred vendors, ensuring compliance and quality of service.
- Coordinate with various departments to assess needs and schedule routine maintenance without disrupting business operations.
- Maintain an up-to-date vendor list, evaluating vendor performance and making recommendations for the preferred vendor list based on cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Handle emergency situations or breakdowns, ensuring quick response and minimal disruption.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify areas for improvement and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing maintenance programs and vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of building systems, procurement, and maintenance operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse team members.
