ACCOUNTING CLERK

The Parkersburg News & Sentinel is seeking to fill the position of Accounting Clerk.  We are looking for a detail-oriented A / R Billing Clerk to assist with financial transactions, invoicing, and record-keeping to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities include :

  • Posting daily deposits, lockbox, and credit card transactions
  • Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly billing
  • Compilation of related reports
  • Accounts payable
  • Data entry for company reporting
  • Additional responsibilities may be added as needed or required

Qualifications :

  • Applicant should have relevant work experience
  • Accounting background preferred
  • Applicant must be able to multi-task
  • Adhere to daily and monthly deadlines
  • Coordinate effectively with other departments
  • Address customer requests
  • Comfortable using various computer software systems.
  • Accuracy and dependability a must

    • Job Details :

  • Full-time Position
  • Hours :   Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Job is in-person

    • Wages / Benefits :

  • 15.00 per hour
