We are looking to immediately hire a Financial Consultant to join our growing team in the commercial sector. In this role, you will support, contribute and/or lead projects for customers in commercial markets, and public sector.
Description
Our client is embarking on an ambitious and exciting transformation journey with the hospital system it has acquired. We are searching for a colleague to play a full time financial analytics and FP&A role. This colleague will work with our partner team, and our client's on the ground team to steward the transformation. This colleague will lead day to day value capture and performance realization analytics. They will report to a senior strategic finance colleague and also collaborate with a full-time Senior Associate/early Manager level colleague.
Role is designed to be a full time,12 month commitment, with an expectation to collaborate with the client team 2-3 days a week.
Requirements
Required Skills
2-5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate finance or FP&A with exposure to provider or payor organizations
Proficiency in building, maintaining and improving financial models for monitoring performance, forecasting and decision making (including advanced skills in Excel)
Strong communication and ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders in simple and actionable ways
Analytical and strategic problem solving to analyze financial issues and recommend solutions
High level of integrity, accountability, attention to detail and ability to work in cross functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, actuarial science or a related field
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
Accounting knowledge including an understanding of GAAP, financial statements and key financial metrics
Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and dashboarding
