Position Overview :
The Partner Companies are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Regional Director of Quality to lead our quality management initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining product excellence, managing supplier quality, and driving continuous improvement throughout our operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ISO 9000 and AS9100 standards, along with technical expertise in dimensioning and tolerancing, measurement methods, and photo chemical etching processes. Familiarity with ceramics, ceramic brazing, and supply chain quality management is essential.
The Regional Director of Quality will oversee quality processes, implement change control, and align ERP systems to support quality objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to uphold and improve customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Quality Management System (QMS) :
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ISO9000 and AS9100 quality systems.
Oversee audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.Supplier and Supply Chain Quality :Manage supplier quality performance and develop strategies for improving supplier processes and relationships.
Ensure robust incoming inspection and quality control procedures are in place.Collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to mitigate risks related to supplier quality.Technical Expertise & Production Processes :Provide guidance on general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and measurement methods.
Apply expertise in photo chemical etching, ceramics, and ceramic brazing to ensure product and process integrity.Establish best practices and corrective actions for manufacturing processes to meet quality requirements.Change Management and ERP Systems :Lead and manage change control processes across departments, ensuring smooth transitions and traceability.
Work closely with IT and operations to tailor ERP systems for tracking quality metrics, documentation, and reporting.Leadership and Collaboration :Foster a culture of quality and accountability.
Collaborate with partner companies, engineering, production, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns proactively.Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.8 years of experience in quality management roles, preferably in manufacturing, semiconductor or aerospace industries.Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100 standards with demonstrated experience managing audits and certifications.Expertise in general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and measurement methods.Familiarity with photo chemical etching processes, ceramics, and ceramic brazing a plus.Proven experience managing supplier quality and developing supplier improvement strategies.Hands-on experience with change control processes, quality documentation, corrective actions and follow up.Experience in ERP system customization for quality management purposes is highly desirable.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.Physical Requirements :
