Job Purpose:
A Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for, sourcing, attracting, prescreening, interviewing, and hiring employees for XL parts and The Parts House (TPH). The ideal person will Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with the hiring managers and HR team to ensure hiring and quality of hire targets are met.
Develop solutions that will support the hiring needs of high volume/in-season staffing.
Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives
Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience
Build close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
Prequalify candidates for next-level interviews by conducting telephone/ video screening
Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews if possible.
Identify, organize, and participate in Job Fairs and recruiting events to build a strong candidate pipeline
Understand the hiring challenges in the external labor market and identify market-specific sourcing strategies.
Participate in 90 days reviews to get retention KPIs
Employee retention beyond 90 days is critical to the success of this position and will be one of the measurements of effective hiring practices.
Some travel will be required up to 50% depending on the needs of the various markets.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Agency recruitment or similar experience
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business Management or similar experience
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Work experience in talent acquisition or high-volume agency recruiting role
Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to work in the fast phased environment and maintain Hiring KPIs
