We are seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working both independently and as a team. Someone who likes working with people and has a passion for being creative and bringing those visions to life. As a team member at The Party Bar, you will work closely with our experienced team members to help bring our clients' event visions to life. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with event setup and breakdown, balloon arrangements, and preparation for installations including blowing up balloons, maintaining inventory, and assisting with custom creations. Over time, we aim for this person to take on more responsibilities and eventually be able to lead and execute installations independently.
The Party Bar is located in Omaha, NE. Must be willing to travel throughout the greater Omaha area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event decor, including balloon arrangements and installations.
- Support senior team members in balloon design and installation, learning the techniques and skills required for large-scale installations.
- Maintain inventory, prepare materials for upcoming events, and ensure all rental equipment is cleaned and in top condition.
- Perform rental pickup and deliveries, ensuring items are returned in good conditions. You must be willing to do late-night pickups as needed.
- Inflate balloons, ensuring each balloon is properly filled and prepared according to size and design specifications.
- Assist with the creation of custom decor items, including sanding, painting, and assembling when required.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all event decor is executed with attention to detail and in line with client expectations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and event organizers as needed.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness at all event sites, following all company guidelines and best practices.
- Over time, take on the responsibility of leading balloon installations independently and managing smaller events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Availability Wednesday through Saturday is required, with flexibility for late-night pickups, weekdays, weekends, evenings, and potential holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No latex allergies, as handling balloons is a core part of the job.
- Previous experience in event planning, decor, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Creative and artistic with a passion for event design and balloon installations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have the willingness to ask questions and seek guidance to ensure quality and safety in the work performed.
- Ability to travel to various event locations, including venues and client locations, as required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
