Job Summary
The Integration Engineer defines, develops, implements, and manages integration solutions with responsibility for analysis and formulation of products and solutions with a focus on time-to-market, standardization through reusable components, efficiency, quality, and superior customer experience.
Primary Objectives
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across IT and business units including application teams, developers, business users, external integration partners, and 3rd party vendors.
- Engage stakeholders throughout the solution development lifecycle from inception to support.
- Manage and support integration solutions for application to application, business to business, and business to consumer scenarios.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze processes and capabilities to formulate solutions that are fit for purpose for business units, partners, and stakeholders.Collaborate with analysts and product / solution owners to define requirements and construct designs translating business and technical requirements into detailed solution design and development specifications.Develop and implement integration and partner on-boarding solutions.Own and be responsible for communication and connectivity of internal and partner applications.Create proposals, develop code, configuration specifications, and solution documentation ensuring alignment with requirements, guidelines, quality standards, and best practices.Develop, test, and deliver solutions, process flows, and configurations.Form strong and trusted relationships with solution and product owners and represent technical integration capabilities in a professional manner.Identify issues that may impact long term health of applications, systems, and business opportunities.Coordinate with external partners on EDI, API, and related changes to maintain the general health of the integration partnerships.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or similar degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly-related field requiredWork Experience
5 years of experience in integration solution development requiredExperience with multiple solution development methodologies in a complex, cross application, multi-functional environment requiredExperience developing solutions with focus on time-to-market, automation, and cost-efficiency requiredTransportation / Logistics industry experience preferredRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with current EDI data integration and transformation tools with specific focus on Boomi.Strong understanding of iterative software development and methodologies such as DEVSECOPS, CI / CD, Agile, Scrum.Working knowledge of EDI standards including ANSI X12, EDIFACT - XML schemas, and JSON.Ability to apply MFT protocols and communication knowledge.Knowledge of secure coding, secure data exchange, certificate management, encryption, and application and integration process monitoring.Ability to negotiate, not oversell, and gain buy-in with the ability to balance short term commitments with long term strategy.Strong oral, written, presentation, and listening communication skills.Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and executive management.Ability to successfully work cross-functionally under significant time and budget pressures.Ability to create complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business, integration or system process flow.Ability to comprehend and apply knowledge of technical issues in conjunction with organizational strategy and complexities.Ability to establish and clearly communicate priorities, triage issues, and identify critical paths.Demonstrated decision making capabilities and willingness to support changing initiatives.Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal working hours to meet global needs.Willingness to explore and engage with new technologies outside of existing skillset.Proficient in use of MS Office products Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio.Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of .net, SQL, canonical data modeling, and / or middleware preferredFamiliarity with API / Webservices SOAP / REST, Event driven architecture preferredCompetencies

Zone 1 : Starting rate $120,000; up to $140,000 for highly qualified candidates
