MIP Lead
THE PASS is an adult-use recreational cannabis business led by experienced entrepreneurs from the spirits, cannabis and marketing industries. We are located in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts’ southernmost town of Sheffield.
The MIP Lead is responsible for overseeing the production process if Marijuana Infused Products (MIPs), ensuring all products are created in compliance with state regulations and meet high quality standards. The MIP Lead shall lead production and packaging of marijuana infused products in accordance with the state and standards set by the company.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Work closely with and lead the MIP team on day-to-day production of marijuana infused products, including edibles, tinctures, and topicals.
- Ensure all processes are completed efficiently and in accordance with company and state protocols.
- Perform regular quality checks and inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Follow SOPs set forth by the company, ensuring accuracy in ingredient measurements, mixing, and infusion.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper stock levels to meet production needs.
- Ability to operate and maintain production equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and packaging machinery.
- Maintain accurate records for all batches, including ingredient sourcing, production data, and testing results to ensure traceability and compliance with regulations.
- Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Creation of edible products from scratch and knowledge of calculations.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- MIP experience required - must have proven professional cannabis experience.
- Baking experience a plus.
- GMP certification preferred.
- Inventory Management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of state cannabis regulations.
- Willingness to work closely with and lead the MIP team.
- Ability to work on own with minimal direction and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
- Adherence to policies and procedures.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to meet all shift requirements with regularity, predictability, and consistency.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform tasks that require repetitive motion (e.g., lifting, bending, stirring, etc.).
