Experienced Drywaller

Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Drywaller to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, along with additional skills in various construction tasks. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on-site.

Duties

• Install drywall panels and ensure proper alignment and fitting.
• Finish drywall by applying joint compound, sanding, and preparing surfaces for painting.
• Perform caulking and sealing of joints to ensure a smooth finish.
• Assist with metal stud framing as needed for various projects.
• Lay tile and install fixtures as part of the finishing process.
• Read and interpret schematics to accurately execute project specifications.
• Conduct flooring installation tasks as required by project demands.
• Participate in mold remediation efforts when necessary to maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with construction plumbing and estimating is a plus.
• Proficient in caulking, tile laying, fixture installation, and flooring installation.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing practices.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
• Experience with mold remediation processes is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work
