We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeepers to join our team at The Pathmaker Hotel, a new boutique hotel located in Bar Harbor. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel and rooms, ensuring our guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas such as guest rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Ensure proper floor care techniques are applied for various surfaces.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
Skills
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial services is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and equipment operation.
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
- Familiarity with hotel or residential cleaning standards.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
