Job Description: Server
Located within The Pathmaker Hotel, our on-site restaurant, offers an elevated dining experience with a full bar, serving breakfast and dinner. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Servers to join our team. If you are passionate about providing exceptional service in a refined atmosphere, we would love to hear from you. We are hiring for both breakfast and dinner shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Recommend menu items, specials, and wine pairings based on guest preferences.
- Ensure all guest needs are met throughout their meal, including refills, special requests, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Maintain an organized and clean service area, including setting up, clearing, and resetting tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely food and beverage delivery.
- Accurately process guest checks and handle payment transactions.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the dining room and bar areas.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent communication with fellow staff members to ensure smooth service during busy times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail offerings (experience with fine dining or bar service is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and work as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a professional appearance.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
