Job Summary:
As an RN (PT Float), you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care across various departments. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, your role involves utilizing core skills such as catheterization, IV insertion, and patient assessment to ensure optimal health outcomes. Your premium experience with EMR systems like Epic and Cerner will enhance patient documentation and care coordination. Additionally, your relevant skills in critical care and home & community care will support diverse patient needs, making you a vital asset in our commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment and monitoring of vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV insertion and tube feeding.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.
- Assist in catheterization and airway management as needed.
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work both day and night shift is required
- Current RN License
- Proficient in catheterization, IV insertion, and patient assessment
- Experience with EMR and EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
- Knowledge of basic life support and tube feeding techniques
- Familiarity with critical care and long-term care settings
- Ability to manage airway and provide patient care in various environments
