Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
- Ensure high-quality care is delivered to all residents while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee and manage the nursing department, including staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, quality assurance programs, and resident satisfaction metrics.
- Act as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and teamwork.
Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Ohio (required).
- Prior leadership experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and critical thinking abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
- A passion for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.
