NOW HIRING: Laundry Assistant
We are searching for an attentive laundry assistant to support the functions of our facility. The laundry assistant's responsibilities include cleaning, pressing, and folding clothes and other textile articles. You should also be able to keep a record of which items belong to whom.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to meet the laundry needs of the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
- Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided.
