NOW HIRING: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
General Purpose:
Provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing to maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.
(LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Coordinate daily care and activities for residents with nursing and support staff.
- Ensure accurate documentation, including admissions, discharges, and care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor resident health, report changes, and collaborate with physicians.
- Maintain quality care standards through compliance with safety and confidentiality protocols.
- Participate in inspections, quality assurance programs, and training sessions.
- Respond to resident needs and ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- Per Diem
- 7pm-7am
(LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license
- Must be able to work in Crescent City
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience
