Social Services Director Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the Social Services department to ensure residents’ psychosocial needs are met.

Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans for residents.

Provide counseling and emotional support to residents and families, ensuring a smooth transition into and throughout their stay at our facility.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address residents’ needs.

Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and external resources, such as community agencies and healthcare providers.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for residents and families.

Social Services Director Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field (required).

Licensure as a Social Worker in Ohio (required).

Experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is strongly preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

A compassionate and empathetic approach to addressing residents' needs.
